da blaze casino: According to reliable West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee on Episode 118 of ‘The West Ham Way’ podcast, the report that an unnamed Chinese Super League club has launched a big-money offer for Marko Arnautovic was engineered by the player’s brother and agent, and it could actually suggest that he is angling for a move to Chelsea.
What’s the word, then?
Well, it was reported on Wednesday that a Chinese Super League club had made a £35m offer to bring the Austria international to Asia.
However, @ExWHUemployee confirmed on the podcast that the link had been generated by the 29-year-old’s agent, which would suggest that the versatile attacker would leave the east London outfit if the right offer arrived this month.
Meanwhile, Chelsea look to be in desperate need of signing a centre-forward this month following the continued struggle for form for Alvaro Morata, and with Olivier Giroud seemingly not considered good enough to be a regular starter for Maurizio Sarri’s men.
Would Arnautovic want a Chelsea move?
Of course he would and he may well have spotted an opportunity to convince the Blues to make a move by engineering the China interest.
Firstly, the forward will want to play Champions League football given he is approaching 30 years of age now, and while his current team will have big ambitions under Manuel Pellegrini qualifying for Europe’s elite club competition in the near future seems extremely unlikely.
In addition, the chance to play alongside Eden Hazard would surely be one that Arnautovic wouldn’t be able to turn down, and given his impressive goalscoring stats with West Ham he would fancy his chances of scoring more playing Sarri-ball at Stamford Bridge.
