da lvbet: According to reports in The Times, Emre Can’s talks with Liverpool over a new contract have stalled because the midfielder’s representatives want a release inserted in to any deal.
da bwin: The Germany international has less than a year remaining on his current contract at Anfield, and the Reds risk losing him for nothing unless they agree to the 23-year-old’s request, although The Times say they are reluctant to do so.
The Merseyside outfit can at least take some comfort that if Can does leave next summer, he will be instantly replaced by RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita after the club agreed a deal to sign the Guinea midfielder at the end of this season last month.
Liverpool supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while some believe Jurgen Klopp should just show the player the door, others feel they have to insert a release clause that is fair for both parties so they avoid losing him on a free.
