da bet nacional: The Sheffield derby on Monday night ended goalless as Sheffield Wednesday managed to keep Sheffield United at bay at Hillsborough.
The title-chasing Blades were the more aggressive team, but Steve Bruce’s Owls defended stoutly and stood firm. The likes of Michael Hector and Tom Lees impressed, whilst Keiren Westwood was solid between the sticks behind them.

The 34-year-old No. 1 has only recently established himself as a regular in the starting XI again having been out of favour under Jos Luhukay.
He has now made 11 Championship appearances, keeping seven clean sheets in that time, as per Transfermarkt’s stats. The 21-cap Republic of Ireland international’s form has played a huge part in the Owls’ revitalisation under Bruce.
He was impressive again in the recent Steel City derby, which will only have endeared him to the Hillsborough faithful even more. He produced a few good saves against the Blades to preserve the precious clean sheet.
