da bwin: Jurgen Klopp has already showed a more restrained approach in the transfer market than Liverpool have become renowned for of late.
da betway: His signings of Mane, Karius and Matip look to fit the current squad dynamic and are clearly addressing issues that have been crying out for attention.
Klopp is an intelligent man, a tactician, a leader and a great man to have in the Premier League. His Liverpool future, however, could depend on their league finish next season.
The glory and riches of the Champions League have not visited the Kop as regularly as many would like to see and Klopp is under pressure to bring those nights back to Anfield. Although he has just signed a new contract, there will surely be demands on Klopp to produce the goods and produce them quickly as the Premier League looks to become the force it once was.
On that note, here are SIX potential additions for Klopp’s side…
Lorenzo Insigne
Napoli’s consistent ability to fall just short of the Scudetto is as frustrating to watch as you could possibly imagine, with Juventus constantly dominating the league.
Serie A is still not at the level of the German, English or Spanish leagues and it could be another summer of losing their best players.
Although Insigne has been a star for Napoli, the potential loss of Higuain may tempt the Italian to leave.
William Carvalho
Carvalho’s performances with Portugal at Euro 2016 just gave a taster of how good the Sporting Lisbon man is.
Liverpool’s midfield is currently lacking that deep-lying player to act as a security policy and Carvalho could well be that man. Physically he is ready for the Premier League and the partnership of Carvalho and Can could dominate for many years to come.
Ruben Neves
Porto’s young star has been touted as a future world class talent for a year or so now and it is only a matter of time until he moves away from his home country.
Neves plays with maturity far beyond his age and, having starred in the Champions League, clearly already has the ability to cut it at the top level.
Wendell
Alberto Moreno’s penchant for defensive mistakes is infuriating Liverpool fans and must be getting a little tiresome for Jurgen Klopp, too.
Wendell, the Bayer Leverkusen left-back, impressed in the Bundesliga last season. His pace makes him a persistent threat down the left-side and could compensate for Liverpool’s lack of natural forward width with his overlapping runs.
Isco
The overcrowding of Real Madrid’s midfield could well be Liverpool’s gain.
Isco, a superbly talented attacking midfielder, can fill in on the wings, but he is most comfortable playing in a central role where he is allowed to roam.
Unfortunately, this is the same for Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino. His days at Real Madrid have allowed Isco to prove that he can even become an excellent right midfielder with his devastating acceleration making him a constant threat.
Jonas Hector
Hector seems certain to be on the move somewhere this summer and the versatile German international could well be on his way to Anfield.
Usually found at left-back, Hector could also perform the defensive midfield role for Liverpool. With Liverpool’s excessive resource of box-to-box midfielders,
Hector could be the man to balance up the midfield pairing, whilst offering cover in the back four too.
